Coronavirus COVID-19 and Our Patient Care

A Message to Our Valued Patients
In response to the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) we would like to reassure our patients that we, as always, have your health as our highest priority.
Our hygiene protocols are Gold Standard and we are actively bolstering these as advised by the Australian Government. All surfaces are thoroughly sanitised pre and post patient visits, and the chiropractors and staff will not be at work if experiencing symptoms.
If you are feeling unwell, we would encourage you to rest at home and reschedule your chiropractic appointment. Otherwise, we will continue with normal operations at Burpengary Chiropractic Centre until further advised. If you have any questions or are unsure if you should visit the practice, please phone us on 07 3888 5166.

Some Helpful Information
…from the Australian Government Department of Health
As you go about your daily routine, here are 5 simple steps that the Department of Health recommends to help reduce the spread of any virus:
- Clean your hands regularly with soap and water or alcohol-based hand rubs.
- Cover your nose and mouth with a tissue or bent elbow when coughing or sneezing.
- Avoid touching your face, nose and mouth. And avoid shaking hands.
- Stay home if you are unwell.
- Avoid contact with anyone who is unwell – try to stay 1.5m away from anyone coughing or sneezing.
It’s also important to maintain a healthy lifestyle, and to look after yourself by eating healthy, having a balanced diet, getting regular physical exercise – even if it is just a stroll, sleeping well, and reducing stress. This is excellent advice for all year round, and extra valuable as we go into cold and flu season.
